Agreement

If you do not agree, do not use the app or site. These Terms apply to the current version of the product. Features can change. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle information and is part of this agreement.

The service

Card Counting Coach is an iPhone training app for blackjack card counting and related skills. It includes:

• Counting drills (Memorize, Running Count, True Count, Swipe & Count, Dealt Out, Beat the Clock)
• Basic strategy practice, strategy cards, and (with Pro) deviation drills
• A Play Blackjack table simulator with a virtual bankroll
• 18 counting systems (some locked behind Pro Mode)
• Pro tools: casino session logs, live team bankrolls, advanced stats, and extra settings

We are not a casino, sportsbook, payment app, or financial advisor. We are not affiliated with any casino, card room, or gambling operator.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 to create an account. The App Store age rating is 17+. You also must be allowed to use the app under the laws where you live. Casino play, card counting at a table, and related activity may be restricted or unwelcome where you are. That is your responsibility, not ours.

Accounts

An account is required. There is no guest mode. You may sign in with Apple, Google, or phone. You agree to provide accurate profile information (including birthday) and to keep your username and sign-in method under your control.

• Usernames must be unique and may only be changed a limited number of times
• Do not impersonate someone else or use a username we reasonably consider abusive
• You are responsible for activity on your account
• We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms

You can delete your account from Edit Profile in the app, or by emailing contact@cardcountingcoach.com. Deletion is described in the Privacy Policy.

License

We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the iOS app on Apple devices you own or control, and to use this website, for your own training — not to copy, scrape, resell, or wrap the service as your own product.

The app is licensed, not sold, except for in-app purchases Apple sells to you under Apple’s terms. We may require a minimum iOS version and may block older app builds.

Training, not gambling

The app is for education and practice. Play Blackjack chips, simulator bankrolls, and drill scores are virtual. They have no cash value.

Card counting, betting strategy, and casino play can lose money. Past practice scores do not predict live results. Casinos may refuse service. Laws differ by place. You are solely responsible for whether, where, and how you use what you learn, including any real-money play.

Nothing in the app is legal, tax, or financial advice.

Sessions and teams

Pro Mode can log casino sessions you enter (times, bankroll, P/L, location, notes, rules) and share live team bankrolls with people you invite.

• You decide what to log. We do not verify casinos, buy-ins, or results
• Team members see the session details you link to that team
• Invite codes and username search are for people you intend to play with — do not share codes publicly if you want the team private
• A session PIN is a convenience lock in the app, not a promise of secrecy
• Do not use teams to harass, dox, or share someone else’s information without a good-faith reason they are on the team

Purchases

Pro Mode is a one-time in-app purchase (currently $9.99 USD, shown in your local App Store currency). It is not a subscription. It unlocks extra systems and levels, deviations, custom strategy cards, session tracking, teams, advanced stats, extra gameplay settings, and removes ads.

Apple processes payment through your Apple ID. Refunds, billing, and family sharing follow Apple’s rules, not ours. Restore purchases from Edit Profile if you reinstall or switch iPhones with the same Apple ID.

The Play Blackjack bank top-up is a separate optional one-time product for virtual chips in the simulator. It is not real money and is not refundable as cash.

Prices and what Pro includes can change for new buyers. If you already purchased Pro Mode, we will not take that unlock away because the menu changed, except where Apple or the law requires it, or if we shut the service down.

Ads

The free app shows interstitial ads. Pro Mode removes them. Ads are provided by Google and may interrupt practice. We are not responsible for third-party ad content, destinations, or privacy practices.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Break the law or use the app to plan crimes
• Probe, scrape, or overload our servers, Firebase project, or other users’ data
• Bypass Pro locks, ads, or age checks, or share an account as a paid workaround
• Upload malware, or content that is illegal, pornographic involving minors, or clearly intended to harass
• Spam invites, abuse push notifications, or impersonate Card Counting Coach or Justin Ackermann
• Reverse engineer the app except where the law says you may

Practice and session features need a network connection for sync, teams, purchases, and sign-in. Offline use of cached drills is best-effort and not guaranteed.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit: profile photo, username, session notes, feedback, screenshots, and similar. You grant us a license to store, display, and process that content as needed to run the app (including showing it to teammates you join, and to us when you send feedback).

You represent that you have the right to submit it and that it does not infringe someone else’s rights. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

Intellectual property

The app, website, drills, UI, logos, and documentation are owned by Justin Ackermann / Card Counting Coach or our licensors. Counting systems and blackjack strategy are well-known methods; we do not claim to own Hi-Lo, KO, Zen, or similar system names as such. We do claim the software that teaches and tracks them.

You may not copy the app or site to build a competing product using our code, assets, or trademarks.

Third parties

Sign-in, cloud sync, ads, maps, and purchases depend on Apple and Google. Their terms apply to their services. If Apple or Google is down, parts of the app will not work. We are not liable for those outages.

Disclaimers

THE APP AND SITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS.

We do not warrant that drills are error-free, that a counting system or strategy card matches every casino’s rules, or that using the app will make you a winning player.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, CARD COUNTING COACH AND JUSTIN ACKERMANN WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST BANKROLL, CASINO LOSSES, OR DATA LOSS, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD THEY WERE POSSIBLE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE APP OR SITE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR PRO MODE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) TWENTY U.S. DOLLARS ($20). SOME PLACES DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITS; IN THOSE PLACES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM THE LAW ALLOWS.

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims that arise from your misuse of the app, your real-world play, your team invites, or content you submit, except to the extent we caused the harm by willful misconduct.

Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if we have to for legal reasons, or if we discontinue the product. If we shut the service down, we may provide notice on this site or in the app. Paid Pro access does not require us to operate the cloud features forever.

License, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity survive termination.

Changes

We may update these Terms. The date at the top is the latest revision. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the app and delete your account.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that Apple’s App Store terms also apply to purchases and distribution. If a court finds a section unenforceable, the rest still applies.

If you are a consumer in a place that requires local law or courts, those mandatory rights still apply.
